NIS2 Process

Who is affected?
NIS2 Directive applies to larger companies and organizations operating in critical or important sectors. It covers organizations with 50 or more employees and annual turnover exceeding €10 million, as well as suppliers that provide services to these organizations and have an impact on their cybersecurity.
- Deadine: NIS2 requirements must be implemented by April 2026.
- Penalties: Failure to meet the requirements may lead to administrative fines of up to €10 million or 2% of annual global turnover (whichever is higher)
- Additional consequences: Mandatory audits, increased regulatory supervision, and management accountability - personal fines for company executives.
