Cookie policy
Apart from one cookie that remembers your choice, this website uses cookies only with your consent. With it, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google Ads to measure and show our advertising. You choose in the cookie banner and can change your mind at any time.
Your choice
On your first visit, a banner from CookieYes, our consent provider, asks whether you accept cookies. You can accept all, reject all or choose by category. Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of every page, which opens the cookie settings. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.
If you delete your cookies, the banner asks again on your next visit.
Analytics: Google Analytics
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 measures how the website is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine or an advert), their approximate location, the device and browser they use, and actions such as sending the contact form.
It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which hold a random identifier so that visits can be counted. They last up to 13 months. Google Analytics keeps the detailed data for at most 14 months; we use its reports to improve the website, not to identify you.
Advertising: Google Ads
We advertise with Google Ads. If you accept advertisement cookies, Google Tag Manager runs three Google Ads tags on the website: conversion tracking, which tells us when a visit that began with a click on one of our ads leads to an enquiry; remarketing, which lets Google show our ads to people who have visited the website; and the conversion linker, which keeps the details of the ad you clicked in a cookie on this website so that a later enquiry can be linked to it.
For these purposes Google may also set and read its own cookies on its domains, such as google.com and doubleclick.net, and uses the information under its own privacy policy. Advertising cookies last from 90 days up to 13 months. Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies; it loads the tags described here.
Before you choose
The Google tags use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept, they neither set nor read analytics or advertising cookies. They may still send Google signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, the time, the type of browser and your consent choice, which Google uses to estimate visits and conversions in aggregate.
Legal basis
We use analytics and advertising cookies, and process the personal data they collect, only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the EU and Lithuanian rules on storing information on your device).
The necessary cookie needs no consent, because it only remembers your choice. We keep the record of your choice because the GDPR requires us to be able to show that you consented (Article 6(1)(c) and Article 7(1) GDPR).
Who receives the data
CookieYes Limited, in the United Kingdom, provides the consent banner and keeps the consent records for us. The United Kingdom is covered by an EU adequacy decision.
Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads. Google may process the data in the United States and other countries. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Google also uses the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Other websites
If you follow a link to another website, such as LinkedIn, that website’s own cookie policy applies.
Browser controls
You can also inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers further controls in My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) and a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on all websites (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Changes and contact
We update this policy when the cookies or tags on the website change. Questions can be sent to hello@guardera.tech. How we handle personal data in general is described in the privacy policy.
